006. [Text]

I'm not really the sort for philosophical things, or romantic things, and I think I've told at least one person that I'm not good at Zen stuff, either. But once in a while something happens and it just sort of makes you think about the sort of stuff you wouldn't normally, I guess.

Do you ever think that we were brought here to meet someone specific? To maybe have an experience that we wouldn't have back home, and even if we won't remember it, for a little while we'll turn out better for it.

Or something.

Maybe it's just the season making me all nostalgic or something, who knows. It's a stupid question anyway. But it's something that I've been wondering about once in a while.

No one seems to know why the hell we're here anyway; that sounds as good as anything else.

It was Arceus. That giant, metal llama thing.

At least, it looked like a llama. You see it?

Yeah, I asked it about why/how we came here, why people forget and have to leave their Pokémon behind.

Didn't get any answers, but it seemed to like the sandwich I gave it. Never knew a god would like hoagies in the first place.

Still seems like a pain. Plus, some of the people who come here are dead back home. So why should they have to go back to being six feet under?

I guess you've got a point, but you'd think a good would be able to find loopholes. Then again, that's assuming he has anything to do with us being here in the first place.

Nah, I'm not dead. Haven't even been through half the adventure I'm supposed to face in the future, and I'm pretty sure I won't be kicking it any time soon.

But I wonder if something else brought us here. Plus, sometimes you get weird cases where someone will leave, come back without memories, leave again, and come back with the set of memories before their last visit. It happened to Sora, but I'm not sure how common it really is. Think I only know one other guy who's been through it.

Plus, there's those weird three-day trainwrecks that happen every six months.
