[Rikki snorts from Kaneki's shoulder, kneading her claws against the material of his shirt briefly before dropping her head onto them, keeping one eye on him and one eye on Nonon.]

[Nonon...does not seem to have worked out, in all her time here, that you can't just ask shit like that.]

[For a moment, Kaneki isn't exactly sure how to answer that. He glances down, thinking, as his hand wanders to his chin.]

[As he talks, he points to his left eye with his other hand, briefly.]

It...comes and goes. So I don't get to eat the things I usually do...quite so often.

You're not dead, though, right? I tend to run into dead people and say all sorts of awkward shit, so we might as well get that out of the way.
