[You know how there are some things that you realize you probably shouldn't have said about half a second after you've said them? Because wow, does Nonon ever understand that feel right now, and the general sense of "well...crap" is strong today, and it's...really not doing anything to help the brain-to-mouth filter start working again, unfortunately.]

Look, I know her from back home, okay? And she works for this...group of people who are really bad, and I think she knows stuff about what's going on that I don't, and that's...that's not something we want to deal with, you know? So just don't tell her you know me because I don't want her deciding to try anything stupid with you! Because she's a bitch and she would!

Granted, she doesn't know much about the person she's referring to, but she at least knows that it's some sort of warning.]

[Which probably benefits Juniper more than it does Nonon, because Juniper is prone to believing everyone and anyone, so refusing to talk to someone in general is the best way to keep herself safe.]
