Well, in that case, I can't imagine your original assertion holds very much water. Why bring us here to meet someone if we will simply forget them upon leaving? Why give us these experiences, only to erase them? Really, given this information, I can't imagine we were brought here with any sort of purpose. If we forget upon returning, it's the same as if we were never here at all, isn't it?
